We're partnering with a growing real estate practice seeking a Commercial Title Underwriter to support sophisticated, high-value transactions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working on complex commercial deals.

Salary: $60,000-$100,000 (based on experience)

Location: 100% in-office


What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with attorneys on complex commercial real estate transactions, including mixed-finance and affordable housing deals
  • Underwrite and analyze title, survey, and zoning materials for purchase, refinance, leasehold, and construction projects
  • Prepare and issue title commitments, policies, and endorsements
  • Resolve title issues, clear exceptions, and manage curative processes
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, lenders, and title partners
  • Track files, manage documentation, and support billing/reporting
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5+ years of commercial title underwriting or processing experience
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow, ALTA, and commercial closing processes
  • Experience handling complex transactions and resolving title issues
  • Familiarity with SoftPro, Rynoh, or similar systems
  • Underwriter license(s) a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
